More Tomorrowland Demolition

We're back next to the Mary Blair mural today, seeing a few shots of the Circle-Vision entrance through time...

It sure is magical, isn't it?

Jeez, this is like looking at war photos without the lose of life, but with all of the heartbreak and stupidity!

OUCH, why does it hurt to look at these? And yet I stare at them endlessly…

THANKS! I love these demolition shots; it helps to fill in the void of what’s missing in the current Tomorrowland. Or at least they help to explain it or justify it or show some attempt was made to make it nice, oh forget it, they should have left it alone!

I loved Tomorrowland SO much when I was a kid. It was THE place I wanted to spend all my time. Now it's OK, but I find myself wandering through it and just not enjoying the "ambiance" such as it is.

I quite agree with Major P. Tomorrowland was the happening place at Disneyland, and the west side of the park had very little going for it in my opinion. Now things are reversed. I think I've spent more time in DCA than I have in the new, more cost-effective Tomorrowland.

The last photo looks so cool seeing the building the destroyed with the Astro orbiter in the shadows. A way of showing the future for tomorrowland

I agree with all of you! Tomorrowland was the best when I was growing up . So many changes and rides lost that it just makes me sad when I go there. What a major loss! I was born in 1965 so you can imagine what I remember when I was going there in the 70’s and 80’s. Star Tours took away Inner Space which I rode but the saddest moment was when the Peoplemover was taken away and skyway and motor boats. Sad to see the park change so much and so fast that it’s not the same. An attraction when exiting America the Beautiful movie that you got a chance to talk to Disney characters on phones was fun I wish I had pics of it. It’s nice reading your interest on the past! Thanks!
