It was the Fantasyland Theatre, all right! Taken January 1982, just a couple weeks before they moved the Carrousel back. I really love the way the framing of the shot and how the rawness in the foreground contrasts with the colorful fantasy world on the other side of the construction fence.
Wow, what an amazing photo! This is one of those cases in which the changes made for a SIGNIFICANTLY better Fantasyland. I only regret that the Pirate Ship and Skull Rock had to go. But the rest of the Fantasyland rehab was a smashing success.
