More Old Fantasyland Demolition

It's been a long time since I last posted a destruction shot of the old Fantasyland from the 1982-1983 timeframe. Here's Mr. Toad going to pieces:

At nine months I didn't have quite the motor skills or construction site access that I had as a teenager. ;)

It sure looks like they just smashed everything with a wrecking ball! I hope somebody kept the nice Mr. Toad shield or some of the other distinctive decorative elements.

Taken out of context (even in context, to an extent), that image makes me a little sad....seeing a big gaping hole and piles of trash with the spires of the castle in the background. It's like a post-apocalyptic Disneyland.
