In June, 1999, the marquee came down. I was doing a school project and making a Disneyland video, so I happened to get a couple minutes' worth of video of the marquee (with a tripod!) on its final day of operation. That was Sunday, June 13, 1999. Actually, I didn't know it was the final day of operation until I got home and read it online. The following photos are from Tuesday, June 15 and show that they made quick work of it. Who knows how many lost tourists this generated!
